Nog twee reeksen

We gaan proberen nog twee oneindige sommen uit te rekenen, te weten

$$1+\textstyle\frac 12+\textstyle\frac 13+\cdots+\textstyle\frac 1n+\cdots$$

en

$$1+\textstyle\frac 14+\textstyle\frac 19+\cdots+\textstyle\frac 1{n^2}+\cdots$$

Het probleem is dat we voor de eindige deelsommen

$$H(n)=1+\textstyle\frac 12+\textstyle\frac 13+\cdots+\textstyle\frac 1n$$

en

$$P(n)=1+\textstyle\frac 14+\textstyle\frac 19+\cdots+\textstyle\frac 1{n^2}$$

niet zo'n mooie formule hebben als voor $1+x+x^2+\cdots x^n$.
